Large paper bag Wrapped candy Newspaper String or yarn Tissue paper (red, green, white) Tape Scissors Glue Stick, bat or broom DIRECTIONS Fill the paper bag with crinkled newspaper and candy. Tie string or yarn around the top to close the bag. Add tape to make sure it's closed. Decorate the piņata to look like a Christmas ornament, Santa Clause or snowman. Cut tissue paper into strips. Fringe the strips by cutting along the edge. Glue the strips around the bag. Overlap the tissue paper for good coverage. Hang the piņata by the string. Blindfold one person at a time, give him the stick and point him toward the piņata. Each person gets one swing until the bag is broken and candy spills out on the floor. HAVE FUN! |
