INGREDIENTS
7 graham crackers
Candy for decorating
Frosting:
1/2 pound powdered sugar
3 tbsp butter or margarine
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 - 2 tbsp milk
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix the frosting ingredients together until it's smooth and spreadable. Add more powdered sugar if it's too thin.
2. Fill a pastry bag and add a small tip OR put the frosting in a zip lock bag and cut a small hole in the corner.
3. Place one graham cracker flat on a plate and squeeze frosting around all the edges.
Place a cracker on each side standing up. Place a cracker at each end. (You may need someone to help hold these in place). You now have a box with no top.
4. Squeeze more frosting on all the corners from top to bottom - and around the bottom of the box. Let this stand so the frosting will set.
5. Squeeze frosting on two top edges of the box. Place the last two graham crackers in a V shape and add on as the roof. Squeeze frosting along the top of the roof where the crackers join. Let stand again until the frosting sets.
6. Use some of the left over frosting to cover the roof with "snow". Put dabs of frosting on pieces of candy and add for decoration.
This is edible, but you can spray it with clear varnish if you want to save it.
