INGREDIENTS
1 box lemon cake mix
In addition to packing directions:
2 more eggs
1/2 cup more cooking oil
1 pkg lemon jello
Frosting
2 cups powdered sugar
lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
Mix up the batter for the lemon cake mix exactly as directed on the box. Then mix in 2 more eggs and 1/2 cup cooking oil. Blend in the dried lemon jello mix last and bake according to the box directions.
Frosting:
Frost while the cake is hot!
Punch LOTS of holes in the top of the cake with a toothpick.
Put 2 cups of powdered sugar into a bowl and add enough lemon juice so you can stir it into frosting. Spread this over the top of the hot cake. It will run down into the holes you've made and make this a very moist, tart cake.
